Video: Deadline Approaching to Register to Vote in Party Primaries

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – If you plan to vote in the primary election this March, the time is ticking to register.

If you have never registered to vote in Lowndes County and want to register in person, the deadline is Saturday February 6th at noon.

You can go by the circuit clerk’s office from 8:00 a-m till noon.

Lowndes County Circuit Clerk Teresa Barksdale says if you have moved in the last few years, it it very important to check your voter registration.

Absentee ballots for the March 8th primary are now available in the office as well.
