The Death Of A Clay County Infant Remains Under Investigation

Clay County, Mississippi (WCBI) – The suspicious death of a Clay County infant remains under investigation.

Family posted on social media that two month-old Iriana Mullins died after being airlifted to a Jackson hospital last Wednesday.

Sheriff Eddie Scott would not release any details about the investigation. He says a person of interest is in custody.

Autopsy results are not complete.

Scott says more information will be released in the near future.
