Video: A Little Snow Won’t Stop the Rodeo

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) -The threat of bad weather cannot stop a rodeo.

The dirt is down in the Bancorpsouth Arena for the Northeast Mississippi Championship Rodeo.

Professional cowboys and cowgirls will be bronc’ riding, bull riding, calf roping, and more.

The weekend show also features World famous rodeo clown, Lecile Harris.

Rodeo Announcer Mike Mathis says there is something for all ages.

“I think no matter where you are or where you are from, what you do, there’s a little bit of cowboy in each and everyone of you, there’s something about that, the trip back to the old west, family involvement, I think it’s just something that simply works.”

The Northeast Mississippi Championship Rodeo takes place Friday and Saturday evening at 7:30P.M.
