Video: It’s an Island Dream Come True for a North Mississippi Boy

MOOREVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) -A seven year old boy and his family are heading to Hawaii.

Brody Houpt  was diagnosed with medulla blastoma one year ago. Now, his treatments are over, and the young man wanted to go to Hawaii.

This afternoon, Brody, his mom and dad went to Mooreville elementary, where they were guests at a play.

At the end of the play, students announced that Brody was going to Hawaii, courtesy of The Make A Wish Foundation.

Mantachie and Mooreville Elementary schools raised money to make Brody’s wish come true.
