Monroe County Farmer Seriously Injured In Accident

Monroe County, Mississippi (WCBI) – A Monroe County farmer was seriously injured after being pinned between a truck and trailer.

Sheriff Cecil Cantrell says the accident happened just after 9 P.M. Wednesday night on Splunge Road, in the Greenwood Springs area.

The truck was attempting to connect to the trailer when the man was caught in-between.

WCBI does have the farmer’s name but is not releasing it until all family members have been notified.

Cantrell says the farmer is in serious condition.
