STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Sometimes it’s story time – and turkey time.

The Starkville Public Library kicked off its “Tails and Tales” live animal story time Wednesday morning.

The special guest was a male American turkey with accompanying turkey tales.

The library will host story time with live animals every Wednesday at 10:00am at Fire Station Park.

They had to move the event inside Wednesday because of weather.
