Amory Car Break-In Arrest

AMORY, Miss. (Press Release) – On 1/4/16 APD received a call about someone taking items from a vehicle parked at a business on Hwy 25 S. Officers arrived and witnesses were able to give info on the suspect. Officers were able to take him into custody hiding in bushes near a family members residence. He led officers to recover the stolen items in an abandoned house close by.

Richard A Hughes, 44, Amory, is charged with B&E of a vehicle. He is being housed at Amory City Jail awaiting a bond to be set by a Monroe County Justice Court Judge.
