Video: Cody Slaughter Rocks in the New Year at The Ice House

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) -They were rockin’ in the New Year in Tupelo on New Year’s Eve.

Elvis Tribute Artist Cody Ray Slaughter helped ring in 2016 at The Ice House.

The Harrison Arkansas native says it is always special to play in Tupelo.

“I was talking to my Dad today, we pulled up and there were some fans waiting in the car, and it was three hours before, I’m just so blown away by all the support and I love these people very much, so thank you all, thank you.”

Slaughter performed as part of the Broadway hit “The Million Dollar Quartet” and he will return to Tupelo in June for the annual Elvis Fest.
