Gentiva® Health Services Acquires Mississippi Hospice Provider

ATLANTA, Sept. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Gentiva Health Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: GTIV), the largest provider of home health and hospice services in the United States based on revenue, today announced the acquisition of North Mississippi Hospice, based in Oxford, Mississippi. Founded in 2006, North Mississippi Hospice has offices in Tupelo, Oxford and Southaven, Mississippi.

The transaction is being funded from Gentiva’s cash reserves and is not expected to have a material impact on the Company’s financial results.
