Man Killed In Union County Crash

Press release from the Mississippi Highway Patrol: “The Mississippi Highway Patrol is still investigating a Thursday morning crash on MS 30w in Union County that claimed the life of a New Albany man.

Troopers responded to the scene at approximately 10:30am, Thursday morning, September 11th. Upon arriving it appeared Cole N Porter, 28, of New Albany, was traveling east bound in a 2004 Nissan Xterra, when he apparently lost control of his vehicle and overturned.

Porter was taken to a local hospital where later died from injuries sustained in the crash.”
