Handicap Ramp Stolen From Winston County Church

WINSTON COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A handicap ramp was stolen from a Winston County church.

Winston County Sheriff Jason Pugh says the wooden ramp was taken from Pleasant Hill Church on Hammol Mill Road.

Someone noticed the theft earlier this week and called deputies.

The church isn’t used very often but still hosts events.

There is also a cemetery there.

Investigators aren’t sure why a wooden ramp would be stolen because it can’t be sold for scrap material.
