Tupelo man dead following one-car crash

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – A man is dead following a one-car crash overnight in Tupelo.

It happened shortly after 1 a.m. on Lumpkin Avenue.

Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green tells WCBI 27-year-old Navaro Trice, a passenger in the car, was ejected and died at the scene.

A second male, who police presume was the driver, was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Tupelo Police are investigating the accident.
