Video: One Driver Dead After Highway 12 Crash

CALEDONIA, Miss. (WCBI) -One of the drivers involved in a two-car crash in Lowndes County Monday night has died.

Coroner Greg Merchants tells WCBI 49-year-old Charles Hill of Vernon died just before 11:00 P.M. Monday at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

The driver of the other vehicle, Alan Reed of Beaverton, AL remains hospitalized with serious injuries.

The two collided head-on shortly before 5:30 Monday evening on Highway 12 near the Alabama state line.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.
