A Columbus man has died after being injured in a two vehicle crash

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A man from Columbus has died after being injured in a two-vehicle crash in Monroe County.

Coroner Alan Gurley says 21-year-old Carlos Draper died from multiple trauma.

Draper’s car collided with a truck on Highway 45 in Hamilton around 9 o’clock Thursday morning.

He was taken to UMMC in Jackson. He died last night.

There is no information on the other driver. The highway patrol is investigating the accident.
