MSDH COVID-19 cases remain the same for a second day in a row
JACKSON, Miss. (WCBI) – The state department of health is reporting the same number of cases it released yesterday.
This means an additional 1,210 Mississippians tested positive for COVID-19.
Health leaders are also reporting 40 deaths.
The number of coronavirus patients in hospitals continues to decline. 833 people are hospitalized right now.
235 are in ICU.
More than 238 thousand people in the state are presumed recovered from COVID-19. This means there are over 35 thousand presumed active cases.
In our area, Lee County has the most new cases today with 35.
