Video: Starkville Fire House Subs Donates Boat to West Point Fire Department

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) -Water rescues across the region are about to get easier thanks in part to the hearty appetites of area citizens

The West Point Fire Department is getting a nearly $19,000.00 inflatable boat designed for floodwater and river rescues. The craft comes courtesy of the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.

The boat will be based in West Point, but will be made available for use all across the area. The rescue raft will be presented to the fire department next Tuesday at 10:00 A.M.  at the Firehouse location in Starkville.
