Video: MUW Honors Staff at Annual Luncheon

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) -The Mississippi University for Women ended the Fall Semester on a festive note.

Thursday, the faculty and staff celebrated the Holidays and the end of class by giving back to the community at the Staff Recognition Luncheon.

Employees presented the Columbus Salvation Army a load of toys that they have been collecting for the past few weeks.

For “W” workers it’s another way to serve the school’s hometown.
” In the spirit of giving this season, we feel like it is something that The W feels very strongly about, and it’s reflected in our staff.”

The “W” also recognized 12 employees who will be receiving pins for five to forty years of dedicated service.
