Video: Aberdeen Looking for a “Little More” Help to Bring Christmas to “Angels”

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) -The Angel Tree program in Aberdeen needs your help making Christmas a little brighter for children there. You can stop by the mayor’s office in City Hall to adopt an angel.

On the back of the adoption card is the child’s name and clothing sizes, along with what they want for Christmas.

The deadline to pick up the gifts will be extended for a few more days.

The majority of the angels have been adopted, but there are still children in need.

“A lot of times they are asking for clothing sometimes even school uniforms and books and toys. Sometimes we give them educational toys to help them advance and then just the basic fun stuff.”
If you plan on shopping for an angel this weekend, be sure to return all your gifts to the mayor’s office before 5 P.M. Monday through Friday.
