Memphis PD Gun Found In Monroe County Traffic Stop
ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) – Monroe County deputies find drugs and a gun with the Memphis Police Department’s insignia engraved on the firearm.
Gerrick Leavy was the driver of the vehicle. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Investigators say passenger Eric Cunningham and William Barr the third are charged with felony possession of marijuana with intent to sale.
Aberdeen police helped catch Cunningham after he ran deputies during the traffic stop on Highway 45, in Aberdeen.
Another gun was also found inside the vehicle.
