Video: Columbus Christmas Season Kicks off with Official Tree Lighting

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) -Columbus residents are adding to the holiday decorations downtown.

They lit the community Christmas tree Monday night at The Riverwalk.

The Magnolia tree is at the east end of the Old River Bridge Walkway.

In January, the city will also host a Christmas Tree Bonfire for residents who want to get rid of their unwanted live trees.
