Video: Open Letter from Mother of Murdered Man

LOWNDES CO., Miss. (WCBI-TV) — Late today, Manuel Vasquez’s mother, Mary Sanchez sent WCBI an open letter to Lydia Martinez, her son’s mother in law.

It says in part,  ” you have no idea how much you and your daughter have damaged us.”

The statement also refers to  ” your demented mind, your inhuman heart.”

The letter asks Lydia Martinez to leave Vasquez’s children alone, stating,  ” The kids you claimed to love so well, you’ve hurt so bad. Why won’t you just let them be.”

Letter from Mary Sanchez to Lydia Martinez:

“Heard you got released at 12:17–you don’t deserve one day of freedom.

How can that judge have given you freedom after you helped burned my son–if you wouldn’t have got caught you would still be telling me all your lies,

you are nothing but a liar always have been, your demented mind, your inhuman heart, her evilness comes from the root of your being–I hope and pray you die like you helped kill and murdered my son.

I hope that everyday your wrist hurts and unbearable pain just to make you feel a bit of what I’m going through everyday of my life–pat yourself on your back because you and your demented daughter with both of your inhuman hearts you are responsible for killing me everyday–you are cruel and evil I hope you and your daughter both burn like you burnt my Son.

I hope you burn–there are no words that can express how I feel about you –I hate you, I can’t understand how any human could have let you walk out into the street again

I just think they are just like you both the lawyer and the judge.

The kids, everyday seeing the hurt that they have to bear because of y’all evilness. After all the hurt you have already cause you still don’t stop. You continue to speak with them and confuse them as if they need that right now. All yall are doing is setting them back. not allowing them to heal. How selfish can you be ? The kids you claimed to love so well, you’ve hurt so bad. Why won’t you just let them be , How can you have the nerve to ask them for forgiveness?

How could you tell them you are praying for me, I don’t need your prayers.”
