Video: Toyota Manufacturing Mississippi Donates Corollas to Area Schools

BLUE SPRINGS, Miss. (WCBI) – Ten area high schools and colleges now have the latest in automotive technology for technicians and engineers.

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Mississippi has donated ten Corollas which will be used for student education and career training.

The donated cars were originally used to provide onsite training for team members at the Blue Springs plant.[TAKE SOT]

“Obviously, we’re doing it to help them, but we’re also doing it to help the future workforce, to understand some of the complexity and manufacturing technology we need for the future. ”

The Corollas will go to seven high schools and three community colleges.
