Video: Area Attorney Stressing Halloween Safety to Students

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A well-known attorney is reminding local students about the importance of safety on Halloween.

Richard Schwartz stopped by Columbus Christian Academy this morning.

McGruff the crime dog, joined Schwartz in passing out orange bracelets saying, “Be Safe, Be Seen on Halloween.”

They also handed out plastic bags to be used for trick-or-treating.

Schwartz also advised students to bring a flashlight with them, and have their parents check their candy before eating it.
