Video: Lowndes County Man Charged in Brother’s Shooting

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A Lowndes County man is charged with shooting his brother during an argument last month. 35-year-old Mark McCorkle faces an aggravated assault charge.
The shooting happened June 12th at a mobile home on Land Road, near the Columbus Air Force Base.  Larry McCorkle was injured.

Mark McCorkle originally was charged with felon in possession of a weapon.
The aggravated assault charge was added after Larry McCorkle gave a statement to sheriff’s investigators implicating his brother.
