Video: Starkville’s Cotton Mill Center Now Open

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) -The former Cooley Building is now a shell of its old self. The Mill includes a hotel, conference center, a parking garage, and office space.

It took 12 years to complete the 55 million dollar project. MSU and Starkville leaders played a key role in the project’s completion.

“The reason conference centers are economic drivers in communities is because you’re bringing people from somewhere else into your community that will spend money in your community while they attend your conference.”

State and local leaders joined Mayor Wiseman for the facility’s grand opening..
