Video: Columbus Police Officer Laid to Rest

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Family, friends, and fellow officers paid their final respects to Columbus Police officer Kelvin Lee Friday. Lee passed away Monday after a long battle with cancer.

After his funeral service this morning, the procession passed through downtown Columbus and proceeded to the Highway 82 interchange and under an American flag hoisted by two fire trucks.

Lee was a 19-year veteran of the department. He was laid to rest in Memorial Gardens. Lee is survived by his wife and two children.
