Video: SeaPort Air Will Stay in Tupelo a Little Longer

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – SeaPort Airlines will continue to provide service in Tupelo through at least December 28th.
The U.S. Department of Transportation has denied the airline’s request to end service mid-November. Seaport had requested the department to discontinue service no later than November 13th.

The transportation department is now accepting bids to provide air service in Tupelo.

SeaPort cited new flight and duty limitations from the Federal Aviation Administration as the reason it’s unable to continue service in Tupelo.
