Video: Columbus Police Searching For Identity Theft Suspect

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Columbus police say a woman is using another lady’s identity to buy groceries.

Investigators released information surveillance video from a grocery store on Tuesday afternoon.

The woman has spent more than $400 over a three month period.

Investigators say the identity thief is using another woman’s name and address on checks from a different bank. Fake driver’s license numbers have also been used.
