Video: Lee County Child Dies In ATV Crash

TUPELO, Miss. (AP) – Authorities say a 12-year-old boy died of injuries from a four-wheeler wreck in the Auburn community east of Tupelo.

Lee County Sheriff Jim Johnson tells the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal (http://bit.ly/1juD75D) Mason Gregory left his home on County Road 1560 around 3 p.m. Monday riding a four-wheeler. Johnson says when he didn’t come back, his dad went looking for him around 3:45 and found him with the four-wheeler on top of him.

Johnson says deputies and paramedics responded and performed CPR on him at the scene. Gregory was taken to the North Mississippi Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Coroner Carolyn Green says Gregory died from multiple trauma.
