Video: Arizona Sen. John McCain Hits the Trail in Support of Cochran

JACKSON, Miss. (WCBI) — U.S. Rep. Thad Cochran (R-Miss.) both are calling on influential politicians to join them on the campaign trail.

Arizona Senator John McCain was on the stump in Mississippi this morning.

McCain traveled to Jackson for a campaign rally for Cochran.

He urged voters to keep Cochran in office, calling him a steady ally of military spending.

McCain questioned McDaniel’s readiness for the job.

“I’ll work with anybody, but he’s got a very steep learning curve because he has no background or knowledge of the issues, challenges that we’re facing right now,” McCain said.

The polls will be open tomorrow from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
