TUPELO, MISS. (WCBI) – Plans for the largest Christmas parade in our area have been unveiled.
The 67th annual Reed’s Tupelo Christmas Parade will take place the evening of December 4th. The theme for this year’s parade is “A Night of Lights” and grand marshals are Major Jeff Daniel and his wife Linda, who are with Tupelo’s Salvation Army.
Major Jeff Daniel says it is an honor to be chosen as grand marshal for this year’s parade.
“It’s all about the lights and seeing the scenes and decorations of Christmas. The Christmas music, but I think the greatest thing I like about Christmas is the opportunity we have to make a difference by giving back to others and that’s really the spirit of Christmas,” Maj. Daniel said.
The parade will also feature the “Express Clydesdales” from Express Employment. It will mark their second time to be in the Reed’s Christmas Parade. For information on registering a group for the parade, contact Jessica at 662 841 6508 or email her at jessica@tupelomainstreet.com
