Video: Thousands Head to Tupelo For “The Price Is Right”

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Thousands turned out at Tupelo’s Bancorpsouth Arena for a chance to win big . The “Price is Right” Live is a staged production based on the longest running television game show.

Contestants were selected at random from the audience. There were chances to win a variety of prizes and money from games such as “Plinko” “Cliffhangers” and of course, the showcase.

Audience members were excited to see the show in person.

” If I win a thousand dollars, I will be happy, on Plinko.”

“We just love the game, and since we were close wanted to come on over here.”

“I’ve been watching this show for like 55 years, I believe I’m ready for the show, I think I deserve being on the show.”

Host for the Tupelo production was Todd Newton, he has been a game show host for many years.
