Highway 9 Crash

CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A Bruce woman remains in critical condition after a violent Monday afternoon car crash.

22 year old Jameika Jones was airlifted to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo after her vehicle left the roadway and hit some trees. The accident happened around 2:30p.m. on Highway 9 North. Jones was the only person and vehicle involved in the crash.

The crash was so violent the engine was dislodged from the car and ended up 30 yards from the vehicle.
