Macon Man Critically Injured in Alleged Attack

NOXUBEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The Noxubee County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an aggravated assault that left a Macon man fighting for his life.

According to Sheriff Terry Grasseree, Jerrico Dooley, 19,l is charged with aggravted assualt after he allegedly beat and kicked Charles Womack in the head.

Dooeley’s bond is set at $200, 000. He is being held in the Noxubee County Jail.

Womack is in critical condition at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo where he is on life support.

Charges could be upgraded.
