Video: Vocational Students Get Safety Lesson

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus students taking vocational classes get a lesson in workplace safety.

The McKellar Technology Center and Farm Bureau teamed up to bring the intensive lab and shop safety program to the students Thursday.

The session included videos and hands-on activities designed to demonstrate safety practices at work.

Students at McKellar take classes in a number of subject areas, including carpentry, culinary arts, and medical technology.
