Starkville- Oktibbeha County Supt. Holloway Arrested
(STARKVILLE,Ms) WCBI – Starkville Oktibbeha County Superintendent of Education Lewis Holloway is free on bond following his arrest shortly after lunch today. Oktibbeha County deputies were called to a disturbance Sunday night on Mount Olive Road. According to reports, Holloway fired a gun into the air during the disturbance. Deputies did recover a gun from Holloway at the scene after the call. The other people involved filed two charges of simple assault against Holloway Monday morning. He is free after posting a one thousand dollar bond. The SOCSD board has called a special meeting for 6 tonight to discuss a personnel matter in executive session but it is not certain if it relates to today’s events.
