Video: Starkville Graduates Inaugural Citizens’ Police Academy

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – The first Citizens Police Academy in Starkville has its first class of graduates.

Ten people graduated from the ten week program tonight at city hall.

Throughout the course, residents learned more about what police face every day on the street and in the office.

The academy is part of Police Chief Frank Nichols’ vision to improve the relationship between officers and the community.
