Work Continues to Reroute Traffic on Tupelo’s Lawndale Drive

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Work on a drainage pipe continues on South Lawndale Drive between Gliff Gookin Boulevard and Mitchell Road, forcing that portion of the road to be passable, but blocked in the southbound lane until the afternoon on Friday, July 24.

This work is a continuation of that begun on Wednesday and continuing into Thursday. The City of Tupelo Public Works Department urges motorists to use caution when passing through the work zone.
