One Dead In Tippah County Crash

TIPPAH COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Booneville man died in an early Thursday morning accident in Tippah County.

State troopers say Jason Ford, 34, was going west on Highway Four when his car collided head-on with a Chevrolet Camaro.

Ford died at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt.

The driver of the Camaro, Mitzi Santos-Martinez, 23 of Ripley, was taken to a Corinth hospital with moderate injuries.

Highway patrolmen continue to investigate the crash.
