Video: Columbus Schools Prepare for State Tests

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Students across the area will begin taking state tests next week., and local schools are holding special programs to help them get fired up. All this week at Sale Elementary in Columbus, community leaders are giving pep talks to the 3rd-5th graders. Tuesday, it was former MSU quarterback Tyson Lee who rallied the students, and shared some words of inspiration.

Featured speakers this week will also include Mayor Robert Smith and Columbus High School Football Coach Randal Montgomery. Students take the MCT-2 Tuesday through Thursday next week.
