WINSTON COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A local pilot says his civil rights were violated by the Winston County Airport Board. Now he’s filing a lawsuit and wants the Board to pay up.
Tim Rogers of Louisville filed a lawsuit, claiming board members violated ethics laws when he wasn’t allowed to rent a hanger for his plane. The suit is also asking for monetary compensation for damages to his plane while at the airport. Board President “Mike Forster” confirmed the suit had been filed but would not go into detail about the case. However, Forster did say that Rogers was previously offered two spaces but refused them. Rogers is currently leasing hanger space at the Winston County airport although the case is still pending.
