Three Arrested With Marijuana And Codeine
West Point, Miss. (WCBI) – Clay County deputies found a pound of marijuana and liquid codeine after a traffic stop.
Now, three West Point men are behind bars.
22 year-olds Tevin Nance and Brian Bowens, along with Anthony Bean, 23, are charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of codeine.
Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott says deputies, along with Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics Agents and West Point police pulled the trio over Wednesday. Bond was set at $151,008 for Bowens, $100,000 for Nance and $150,000 for Bean.
Scott says the investigation continues and anyone with information should call Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers.
