Hamilton, AL Laying Off Employees

Hamilton, Ala. (WCBI) – Hamilton, Alabama’s hospital is reducing staff and changing its business model.

Marion Regional Medical Center says seven people will be laid off.

The North Mississippi Medical Center operated facility says it is not closing.

The new care plan will eventually provide primary care, emergency room, surgery lab, radiology, and rehabilitation services in one building.

NMMC is working to relocate employees in the hospital system.
