Columbus, MS (WCBI)-The Columbus Federal Programs department may be under going a shuffle.

The City Council Tuesday night delayed action on possible disciplinary action against some or all of the department’s three employees.

The department is under the microscope after a paperwork error caused the city to be disqualified from a grant to rehabilitate dilapidated houses. Another mistake last fall led to a five-day suspension for Federal Programs Director Travis Jones.

A decision could come at a meeting in two weeks.
