Bryce Brauneisen joined WCBI as Sports Director in November 2024.
Bryce was born and raised in Southern California, where he lived for the majority of his life. He attended California
Lutheran University, where he graduated with a major in Broadcast Communication and a minor in Philosophy.
Growing up, sports were simply a way of life for him. He played nearly every sport as a kid and rarely missed an
episode of SportsCenter.
At 11 years old, his dream of working in sports was solidified when he got the opportunity to announce a full Los
Angeles Dodgers game in the booth through the Junior Dodgers program.
During college he produced and hosted his own sports talk show through iCLU Radio, covering all the hot topics in
the world of sports.
After graduation, he worked at KYTX CBS19 in Tyler, Texas as a Sports Anchor/Reporter for two and a half years.
During his time in East Texas, he had the opportunity to cover championship-level programs and major sporting
events in the Lone Star State. He also secured interviews with notable athletes such
as Bijan Robinson, Tony Romo, and the legendary Earl Campbell.
In his free time, Bryce enjoys any type of workout, from running to golf. He’s a die-hard supporter of the Los
Angeles Dodgers (2024 World Series Champs!) and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Bryce is looking forward to covering the prestigious SEC athletic programs within the Magnolia State, as well as all
the elite-level athletic talent within Mississippi.
