Burn ban issued for Choctaw County
CHOCTAW COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Choctaw County has been placed under a burn ban until further notice.
The board of supervisors decided Friday that the county would begin the ban on Saturday, October 19.
The city of Ackerman was placed under a burn ban on Friday morning.
Campfires, bonfires, fire pits, debris burning, or anything of that nature are not allowed.
You could be fined if you’re caught burning.
