Winston County Shooting Suspect Wanted

WINSTON COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The Winston County Sheriff’s Department needs the public’s help catching a shooting suspect.

On July 28, Police were called to a shooting incident at a night club in the New Zion community of Winston County.

Police believe Karl Hopkins was shot in the arm with a .45 caliber pistol.

The suspect was identified as Jamie Potts (a.k.a. Jamie McBride).

Investigators are asking the public to help locate McBride.
