Lowndes County deputies investigate shooting in New Hope
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Lowndes County deputies continued to investigate an overnight shooting in the New Hope area.
Sheriff Eddie Hawkins said the gunfire happened on Shane Circle, just off Hughes Road.
Deputies found 29 shell casings at the scene.
No one was injured in the shooting.
Hawkins told WCBI the home was the scene of another shooting this summer.
No one was injured in that incident.
