Spreading joy: 4-County Electric Power Association toy drive
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Thanks to the 4-County Electric Power Association, Christmas will be a little brighter this year for families.
4-County employees and its members collected over 400 toys this year for the community.
The company partnered with the U.S. Marine Corps, and the reserves distributed the toys to several families in our viewing area.
Brian Clark, CEO of 4-County, said he hoped this made Christmas morning better for parents and children.
“Look at all the toys here. Remember being a kid and how happy you were on Christmas day? There are a lot of kids that may not have that opportunity and times are hard. So, we want to give everyone an opportunity to have happiness on Christmas day,” said Clark.
This was the 14th annual toy drive at 4-County.
