Madalyn’s Angels: Providing children with clothes for Christmas
TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – While many people were donating toys to the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program, another nonprofit was making sure kids had clothes under the Christmas tree.
The group is called “Madalyn’s Angels” and helps make sure that kids also get clothes, linens, and similar items.
Barbara Bean is a spokesperson for Madalyn’s Angels and said the nonprofit was created to make sure children have clothes, especially when the temperatures drop.
“There are so many children who need just a set of sheets for their bed. So, we want to be able to help these children in any way we can,” said Bean.
You can take donations of clothes, linens, or other items to Building Five of the Tupelo Furniture Market, or you can make a contribution to Madalyn’s Angels through the CREATE Foundation website.
